What is an ETF?
An Exchange-Traded Fund is a “basket” of multiple investments, such as stocks, bonds, or commodities, and usually represents a specific index or investment strategy. It brings together the diversification benefits of a traditional fund and the flexibility of a single stock, meaning you can trade it instantly on the market. Dukascopy offers ETF trading in the form of Contract for Difference (CFD). An ETF CFD does not represent ownership of the underlying ETF. Instead, it gives you exposure to the ETF’s price movements, and any profit or loss is settled in cash.
