One of the exclusive options of your Multi-Currency Account (MCA) is the ability to keep money in more than twenty currencies. In this article we will explain how to open a Sub Account in your personal MCA account.
Opening a Sub Account is quick and easy:
- Go to the section Home, Your accounts and click + Open account.
- Select one of the suggested currencies.
- Enter a description of the new Sub Account (optional).
Your new Sub Account is opened!
! Each Sub Account has its own IBAN number. IBAN number is highlighted in gray and located directly under the name of the sub-account.
! The balance can be displayed in several currencies - directly in the currency of the Sub Account and in the quoted currency, that is, in a currency, in units of which the price of all other currencies is expressed.
! Opening a new Sub Account is necessary, in particular, for currency conversion. Funds will be converted at the most favorable exchange rate and transferred to the appropriate Sub Account. Currency exchange is carried out without commissions, in accordance with the current rate.
What operations can be performed with funds stored in your Sub Account?
Withdrawal - You can withdraw funds in the most convenient way for you - via bank transfer or to your MasterCard linked to the MCA account. Here you can also deposit your Dukascopy plastic / virtual card.
Exchange - Currency exchange section speaks for itself - this is the place where you can carry out currency conversion.
History - In this section you can view the history of all performed operations, as well as their details. In particular, the amount and commission, time of the transaction, as well as its status.
Send money - This section is intended for instant transfer of funds between owners of Multi-Currency Accounts in Dukascopy Bank. Please note that this method is not intended to top up your mobile balance, withdraw funds to a bank account, or transfer to an electronic wallet in Dukascopy Payments.
Change description - Here you can change the name of the Sub Account at any convenient time.
