Fees

MCA account fees

1. Prospects may be required to make an initial card/wire deposit in the amount of 40 EUR. Funds will be available on the account after the account opening process is completed.
2. Multi-Currency Account holders possessing less than 5 DUK+, which are granted free of charge for each new account holder, are charged 1 EUR monthly. Zero-balance accounts are exempt from this fee.
3. Clients are given 30 calendar days to withdraw all remaining funds. After this period, the Bank charges 50 CHF monthly as the follow up fee. The remaining balances, which are too small to be withdrawn, are charged as the maintenance fee.

Payment operations

1. To receive the full amount of transfer to your Dukascopy account, advise your financial institution to use OUR in Details of Charges, SWIFT standard field 71A.
2. An additional 0.5% deposit fee (min. CHF 250, max. CHF 5,000) applies to third-party payments over CHF 50,000 from sources like dividends, property sales, crypto, or other complex cases requiring enhanced review. In particular cases, subsequent deposits that raise the total above CHF 50,001 are also subject to the charge (at the Bank's discretion). Prior Bank approval is required; without it, the CHF 5,000 cap does not apply. In highly complex cases, the Bank may raise the fee.
3. The Bank reserves the right to charge an additional 0.5% fee (min. CHF 1) on third-party incoming payments starting from the 8th such payment per calendar month.
4. The Bank reserves the right to charge an additional 0.5% fee (min. CHF 1) on outgoing payments from high-turnover accounts.
5. The Bank reserves the right to charge 7.50 EUR for SEPA withdrawals to certain financial institutions.
6. Transfer of funds from your Dukascopy account to any authorized Western Union cash pickup point.
7. Fees are shown at checkout. The Bank receives 15% commission from fees collected by Western Union.
8. The retail rate is derived from the interbank rate plus an additional spread of 0.5%.
9. Cashback is paid in the form of an additional discount, improving the final exchange rate accordingly.

Investments

1. Investment maintenance fee reflects cumulative swap points accrued for the period. The fee is charged monthly for investments held during the previous month. The fee is calculated as the sum of end-of-day investments’ balances * (maintenance fee in % / 360).
2. Dividends on indices are calculated based on the instrument balance on the ex-dividend date and are paid on the same day. More information and index dividend adjustment calendar can be found here.
3. Dividends on stocks are calculated based on the instrument balance one business day before the ex-dividend date and are paid on the payment date. Dividends on stocks are reduced by the withholding tax rate. Resulting percentages of dividends received after the withholding tax and dividend calendar can be found here.

5. The "Investment deposit from blockchain" is a multistep operation (see description). Although the deposit itself is free, the standard Investment instrument purchase fee does apply.

1. Any costs incurred to reestablish contact but minimum 500 CHF and not more than the account balance. Additionally, the Bank charges 50 CHF monthly as a follow up fee until the contact is reestablished or until the account is closed.
